HOME from the Hospital!

I liked this discrete sign because I didn't want Musketeer walking out into the hallway while I was trying to rest.  HOWEVER...

Someone wrote:  ** SERVICE DOG WORKING!!! ** on the paper the next morning

which caused my room to become a circus side show.

I had CNAs fighting to take me to different appointments so they could see my dog.

Because I wouldn't tell anyone his name (because I didn't want anyone else calling him and distracting him), that was the main topic of conversation at the nurses station.

It got to be so bad, I had two different people come in and ask me what should be done when service dogs are working, memos went out and procedures were implemented.

I had a cardio cath in my wrist that went up to my heart to shoot dye in to find any blockages.

One was found in a place that they could correct it right there and then by

blowing up a "party balloon" twice, then placing a stent.

I was told that wrist pain was extremely common during and afterwards.

I didn't feel a thing in my wrist.  It was my lower back from laying on a metal table

for over an hour!

I am now on blood thinners, baby aspirin and two other medications

that I wasn't on before.  I feel like a pharmacy!

I'm glad I went into the ER on Saturday (Feb. 2nd) afternoon.

I was told I would have (someday) ended up having a heart attack if I hadn't.
